My Travel: Hawaii - Skydiving

Photo: The Jump

Photo: Hawaii, Honolulu

Warm welcome by a small school of dolphins & a couple of whales meet us as we sail into the port. The sunrise was stunning as we approached the harbour, in the distance one could see houses,
hotels and more.

With a fresh Hawaiian coffee I welcomed the day.
It was time to do some quick shopping before I joined the group going for Skydiving.
Driving to the site, we signed some paper  that said something along the lines.." you may die today ", but at that time one could not really think.

As we prepared to board the plane, the left brain rationale and logic sent urgent messages to stop, abort the mission and it continued to do so until the last moment before the jump. The thoughts came running in: What are you doing? are you crazy, OMG its my turn now? and than your out there in the air spinning and falling .. the parachute opens and you experience the most peaceful magnificent feeling I ever felt.

Now you relax, and absorb the beauty around you as you float in the air, and finally you understand what it feels like to fly ..

$$ For those who might want to try Skydive. I spent about $450 USD,  ( this included the jump, DVD of the dive, and photos. )
