| My Trip with Destination Life Change. Everyone I know Told be it would be a waste of time going on a 2 week volunteer trip with World Vision Canada to El Salvador. In my heart I knew what I wanted to do, but of course did not know what to expect at the same time. I flew to El Salvador, a place I have never been to before. At the airport I had no idea where to go but I knew I had too book a hotel for 1 night before I met with my team from World Vision. I asked one of the cab drivers to take me to a hotel not to far from the Intercontinental Hotel where I was to stay the next night. Landed in some dark neighbourhood at around midnight, in some low rate hotel. The room was ok but had to share the bathroom with some cockroaches. hmmm.. just 1 night I thought I can do this. The next morning I made my way to the Hotel to meet my Group and My project Manager for Destination Life Change.  |
